The Daily Post challenge this week is Scale and I’ve chosen photos of a local landmark, the Angel of the North, Gateshead. A sculpture by Antony Gormley, it is 20 metres high and has a wingspan of 54 metres.

How grand! I like the b&w photo the best, the sun caught in the corner makes it even more dramatic as the sculpture looms over the visitors.
