Thanks for the fun tour, Lin. I guess that’s one way of keeping anybody from stealing the bike, but I wouldn’t want to try to get it back inside! ๐ Hugs.
This is a great collection of doors, Lin. I love the one at the top with the bike! The other buildings are amazing. I like the Cafe, I’m wondering what it was before – perhaps a bank?
I like that blue and the bike above the one door made me chuckle.

I decided to do a bit of digging in regard to the Cafe with it’s grand entrance. It is in fact Whitby Church of England Parish Office.
Thanks for letting me know.
Never been to Whitby. Will add to the ever growing list of places to visit!
In the past it was known for whaling. Now famous for fish and chips and Dracula. Evidently Bram Stoker found some of his inspiration there.
Ah yes. I’d forgotten about the Dracula connection๐
A lovely collection of doors. Like the others, I really like the first photo with the light blue door and the bicycle mounted on the front. ๐
A nice collection! That bike up there made me smile and reminded me that I recently saw a car stop a building. I have to go back for a shot!๐

You should do.
A wonderful collection of photos. Must have been a joy to see in person.
Yes I love a trip to Whitby.
