Visit Dan for more Thursday Doors
Mainly gates this week but there are a couple of very large doors if you look closely. These photos were all taken at Beamish Museum. Beamish Museum is a living, open air museum telling the story of everyday life in the North East of England through time. 1820’s, 1900,s 1940’s and 1950’s. Some more of the 1950’s town will be opening this month.

Terrific
Thanks

Thank you. I just found your comments in spam.
an open air museum really does allow for immersion – and you can feel the history so much
oh and that sing Stop Cock 3ft 0ins – – I am assuming that “ins” used to be for inches – and was before we had standardized notations eh?
It’s a great place to visit and yes ‘ins’ will be inches.
😊
That first bridge is awesome 👍🏼

Thank you
