Doors in the vicinity of Durham Cathedral, UK. The plaque above the fist door says that the building was a hospital in 1414.

Durham Castle is a Norman castle and has been occupied by University College since 1837. This is just a part of the castle.

It looks like a black frame has been used as a replacement, it spoils the look.

You can see windows from across the road in this window.

I’m reflecting on the reflections in this old photo of Durham Cathedral. It’s still one of my favourites featuring a reflection [of mine]. I’ve been there many times since I took this photo but the reflections have never been the same.

this unusual building is the Sage [I call it the slug, affectionately]and one of my old favourites of Durham Cathedral

I took two photos, one of the cathedral and one of the river and joined them together.
