It has been a good year for poppies in my garden this year
Perennial poppies. These last a lot longer than annual poppies and come back every year.
Annual poppies. The flowers don’t last very long, about a day or so.
I save the seeds from the poppy heads to plant another year.
All the above were in my garden and on a walk by the river I saw this striking poppy. It was hard to get a good shot because of the fence.
