The Sketchbook Challenge theme for February is windows

This is the creature looking through the window

 

Time Collage

The Sketchbook Challenge this month is ‘sketching with collage’ and the Illustration Friday challenge is ‘time’ so I have combined both for this one.

I used gesso on the page first, and used an old calendar and diary page for the collaged bits. I drew on watch hands and numbers and finished off with smudged time related quotes in pen.

I also did a digital collage for time

I used my new Letraset aquamarkers, a fine liner and a white pen.

The cat was supposed to be a tiger cub but it doesn’t look much like one!

Created on a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 with Sketchbook Pro

The picture below was also created on the Note. I used Sketchbook Pro for the background using the mirror tool and I used Photoshop Touch for the bird
