My entry for Monday Window

My entry for Monday Window
This is a new street in Beamish Museum based in the 1950’s and it includes a fish and chip shop. Unfortunately they weren’t serving when we were there because the fryer had broken.
I’ve gone back in my archives to 2005 for these photos from the Eden Project in Cornwall. The ‘windows’ are actually made of plastic. The domes are made of transparent hexagonal panels on a steel structure. The panels trap air between two layers of ethylene tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE), a kind of plastic.
