I’m joining in with Thursday Doors 16/1/2020
I took this photo for the embroidery really, but the door is interesting too.

Such character and beauty!
They have!
These are lovely. Thanks for sharing them with us this week π
Thank you. I just rescued your comment from the spam folder.
Thank you for coming by my blog! Is it real embroidery, or paint? Never saw this on a wall! What an interesting lock, and also the arches!
It is real embroidery by someone called Raquel Rodrigo. She evidently has other pieces around the city too although we didn’t see those [apart from on the internet]
Wow, what a brave artist. It’s quite an accomplishment. I tried to go back to your block, but keep getting an error message, so I hope this reaches you!
Yes got it thanks which is quite surprising as WP seems to acting strange tonight.

That is a good door. By coincidence I used it for ‘Thursday Doors’ sometime last year.
Did you climb to the top of the tower?
No we didn’t climb to the top. We actually came across it by accident, I’m not sure I would have managed all the steps after our long walk before. I didn’t realise you could go up it until I came home.
Good views from the top and not an especially hard climb!
It’s a shame we missed it then, we’re back home now.
An excuse to go back!
π
Striking view through the archway! And I’m partial to that embroidery too π
π
I thought my eyes deceived me, but is IS embroidery? Wow!
It really is π
Really beautiful!
π
Specially like the embroidery one.. π
It’s certainly different.
