I have always loved agapanthus and grew them everywhere I lived on the mainland of Australia…..here in Tasmania, however, they are considered a weed as they escape gardens and grow prolifically on the side of roads. I still grow them though Reply ↓
The garden centres sell ones that are sterile so the seeds don’t spread to native areas but yes they are too pretty to be weeds

I can’t believe that they are considered a weed, wish my weeds looked like them.
